ECHO and Hope Education Are Teaming Up!

ECHO is excited to announce its new partnership Hope Educational Services (HES) to offer creative solutions for families endeavoring to take control of their children's education.

HES founders, Sam & Kim McDowell, bring over 30 years of education experience including traditional and homeschooling, administration, mentoring and learning support. Through this collaboration, ECHO Family School will offer parents an array of options to enrich their homeschool program with classroom-based instruction. The amount of support varies based on the individual needs of the young person and the needs of the family.

*[Space is limited. Preference is given to youth age 13+ (8th - 12th grade) and their younger siblings; a fewer number of spots are available for age 4 - 12 (PK - 7th grade).]

Options include:

A La Carte Course: These are academic and elective courses offered through university-style course registration. Families may choose to enrolled their student by the credit. For example, a student may register for a semester-long History course that could be accounted for as half or full credit on their homeschool transcript.

Flex Enrollment: Students may attend one or two full days of classroom-based schooling. Students would be dropped off at "school" on the selected day(s) with their individual homeschooling materials and complete their work in a classroom with a learning facilitator and peers. Academic support and structure would be provided throughout the school day.

Full Time Enrollment:  ECHO encourages families to engaged in their students' learning to the maximum extent possible. However, we understand that some families may not be in a position to have their student home during the day but would like an alternative to traditional schooling. ECHO Family School's Christian, microschool environment gives parents an opportunity to maintain control of their child's education while working toward increased engagement. Students complete their designated work on site under the supervision of a learning facilitator. Students enrolled full-time also have access to a la carte courses offered to the broader homeschooling community.

Special Needs Support: Hope Family Services has the unique ability to accommodate students with special needs.
