Local Groups & Co-Ops

CHELC is a community of homeschooling families in Lowndes and surrounding counties.  You can expect seasonal parties, field trips, moms' night out, and other activities that help build friendships and support. Like ECHO, CHELC's goal is that all activities will be honoring and glorifying to God.

CC is a company who provides homeschooling curriculum rooted in the classical model. The company establishes support communities made up of families who utilize their curriculum and approach. Our area is fortunate to have three CC communities--each offering their own unique perspectives and experiences.

SCHE is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to support and encourage homeschooling families in Starkville and the surrounding areas as they seek God’s will in training and educating their children. They are mostly known for there homeschool sports program and special events that promote Christ and family. 

This CC group is often referred to as "Friday CC" as their cooperative meets once/wk on Fridays for a full day of learning and fellowship.

CC Starkville is another very supporting CC community. They accommodate students from Columbus, MS. They also host workshops and training for families who are part of their learning community.
